They are fully NICEIC and JIB qualified. All gas installations are carried out by Gas Safe registered installation engineers.

We also install heating and cooling systems as well three phase and associated plant. Other electrical works we undertake are recessed lighting were we can install flush fitting luminaries and louvers for exposed grid suspended ceilings.
We can provide full M&E design and installation services including plant rooms and large scale heating and cooling systems for larger projects.

InterFocus provides a range of services to both companies, hospitals and schools that use specialist gases. From copper to stainless steel we can design, install & maintain all laboratory bottled gas systems and bulk storage areas.
We also offer preventative maintenance packages, electrical and mechanical manufacture and installation services and the supply of proprietary and bespoke gas equipment, fittings and control equipment. As part of our Mechanical and Electrical services we can design and install complete heating and cooling systems for single classrooms to entire buildings.

Gas Guard
The GasGuard I gas proving system is designed by Flamefast to meet the latest requirements of IGEM/UP/11 Edition 2, BS6173:2009 and IGEM/UP/19, In addition Flamefast have added additional safety features based on their many years of experience in this industry.
InterFocus chose the Flamefast system due to the ease of installation and reliability in addition to the user friendly interface and clear visual indicators.
The GasGuard I is considered by many to be the most cost effective system on the market. Other features include individual alarm indicators for external devices, a dedicated engineers button allowing diagnosis of site issues to be carried quickly and efficiently.

CO2 Temp & RH
The Flamefast Carbon Dioxide, Temperature & RH Monitor provides a clear visual indication via a simple traffic light LCD in addition to providing a digital readout for all three signals.
The unit can be easily interfaced with Gas Safety Systems providing a safe gas protections system suitable for your 21st century science classroom.
The CO2M provides four user selectable programs for different applications; two are aimed at Ventilation and two further programs are aimed at Gas Safety. The relay and traffic light can be configured to activate based on any combination of CO2, Temp & RH (CO2 only as default).
Blakely Electrical Safety
Here at InterFocus we have chosen to use the following electrical safety systems which are suitable for use in the science classroom. These units provide 230v socket protection for the classroom giving the highest level of protection against electric shock by incorporating a 1:1 ratio transformer alongside 1.25mA or 5mA RCD protection as well as a current limiting resistor which restricts the level of earth leakage to a maximum of 10mA at all times.

Safe Supply Unit in floor standing enclosure, 5, 8 or 10 kVA rating, 1.25mA or 5mA sensitivity, option of 2, 3 or 4 outgoing DP MCB ways.
CELU Series
Safe Supply Unit in floor standing console style enclosure, 3 or 5 kVA rating, 1.25mA or 5mA sensitivity, 3 no. outgoing DP MCBs
