UTC Cambridge University Technical College
Cambridge Academy for Science and Technology (formerly UTC Cambridge) is a university technical college which opened in 2014. The Technical college is located on the Biomedical Campus in Cambridge and is next to the Long Road Sixth Form College in Cambridge.
InterFocus were appointed to manufacture and install new science classrooms within the newly built UTC Technical College in Cambridge. The lab areas were designed to be more like commercial laboratories than your typical school classrooms.
The project comprised of
- Manufacture and installation of laboratory furniture
- Trespa TobLab Base worktop fabrication
- Installation of fume cupboards and extracts
- Sinks, taps and ancillary items
