St Edmunds College Ware

St Edmund’s is a Catholic school based in Hertfordshire which is steeped in history having been founded in 1568 by Cardinal William Allen and is the oldest Catholic School in England. The school has a strong Catholic ethos based on four key principles; Christ Centred Education, Scholarship of St Edmund, Education for the whole person and home and the wider community.

This school science block project consisted of 3 science laboratories, 2 prep rooms, a chemical storage room and 2 meeting and teacher rooms.

The college wished to have a traditional look to the furniture in keeping with the buildings. For this project IROKO solid wood worktops were used throughout. The entire program of works was completed in 3 weeks.
