Casterton Business and Enterprise College

Casterton college was founded in 1939 in the village of Great Casterton, East Rutland, 3 miles north-west of the town of Stamford. It is an independent 11-16 academy serving children based in the counties of Rutland, Lincs, Leics and Northants.

Casterton has been the highest performing school in Stamford and Rutland for several years now and was recently recommended by the Guardian as the best school in the area.

InterFocus was asked to design and build 3 new classroom facilities for Casterton College. The Classrooms were for Art, Design and Technology & Graphics. Each classroom was to have a teacher wall incorporated to house the interactive screen and projector and ancillary AV equipment.

Electrics, plumbing and suspended ceiling and lighting was also part of the project. The furniture supplied was a mixture of standard under bench cupboards and tray storage units. Trespa worktops were used for the art and graphics rooms.
